Nature and aim of the position

The holder of this position is managing Issuing Solutions integration projects with external partners from the execution phase to the rollout of the developed and certified solutions.

Scope of these projects is the integration of Tax Free Shopping (TFS) functionalities into merchant solutions (terminals, POS systems) within the EU area.

The candidate must have a strong service ethic & good communication skills, as the role is client-facing dealing directly with external clients/partners.

This position reports directly to the IT Director Italy and is based in Gallarate.

The position may require travelling.

Main duties and responsibilities

Deliver Issuing Solutions implementation projects within scope, timeline, budget and in compliance with the processes of Global Blue Professional Services

Interface with internal and external project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of TFS services

Support the definition, the implementation and the governance of an efficient Partner Integration project process

Support the Commercial Organization and the Partner Manager with technical and process consultancy

Ensure that the implemented Issuing Solutions are anchored correctly in the GB organization

Maintain the Country Requirement updated.

Technical pre-sales

Provide 2nd level support to the local FS teams.

Regular review meetings with Partner Manager

Relates and cooperates mainly with

Line manager

Technology, Product, Commercial teams

Partner Manager

Background and Education

Experience in managing technical projects with external stakeholders

IT educational background

Experience in working with virtual and distributed teams

Customer consulting services

Independent and self-motivating personality

Italian native language.

English language

Working knowledge within the retail industry preferred

Specific skills and knowledge

Solid understanding of Point-of-sale related technology and transactional systems

Ability to communicate with external partners in an efficient and structured way

Accuracy, ability to analyze situations quickly and to identify the correct measures

Customer-oriented approach

Willingness to delve into technical details

Structured and flexible in managing difficult and challenging situations

Commitment and dedication to work

Perseverance in reaching goals

Good knowledge of project management processes and tools

Excellent communication and team skills, ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
