In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for:

Technical Safety Engineer – Energy / Oil & Gas

What will your contribution be at Akkodis? Within our Energy division, you will be involved in a project related to the Oil & Gas sector and will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Developing concepts, philosophies, procedures, guidance for compliance with IEC 61508 / 61511 Functional Safety Management.
  • Participating in safety risk assessment such as HAZOP, SIL Classification, SIL Verification, Fault Tree Analysis and any other technical studies.
  • Conducting Functional Safety Assessment for the projects.
  • Reviewing and approving project deliverables relevant to IEC 61511 Functional Safety Management.
  • Performing formal safety assessment (FSA) studies Providing support for risk-based decision-making,
  • Applying knowledge of safety in design principles to the design/modification of petroleum production/processing facilities Ensuring compliance with safety regulations in all aspects of process safety design

Do you have a degree in Chemical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector? You can join the Energy team and work on various projects while getting to know different realities.

About you

Requirements to start your growth journey:

  • BSc, BEng or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
  • Functional Safety Expert Certificate
  • Experience working on the concept, FEED and Executing project phases
  • Minimum of 7- 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry with Proven capability in Technical Safety "Design Engineering" Willingness to travel nationally and internationally;
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
