YOUR ROLE

You will be part of the Central Construction team, a worldwide team dedicated to the design and construction of the new infrastructure and facilities necessary for manufacturing. You will join the team dedicated to the Agrate site, following all the phases of the new projects, from conceptual design to detailed design, construction, start-up, and commissioning of the new facilities.

You will be part of the process team, grouping the UPW, WWT, Gas, Chemical, and Air treatment disciplines. After a first period of training, as a Water, Gas & Chemical engineer, you will be in charge of following the activities of the packages related to the discipline ensuring to keep them aligned with the time, quality, and budget defined. You will be asked to collaborate with the team members and to ensure an efficient sharing of the information among the people of the team and with the other people of the Construction group. You will collaborate in defining the new projects' needs according to the production tools requirements and, working with the other disciplines involved in the team, to provide all the information necessary to the possible Contractors to fulfill their scope. Your role of Water, Gas & WWT engineer includes the following main activities:
Collaborate to define the basic design related to process disciplines for new projects, supported by the process team leader
Collaborate to prepare the specifications for the process disciplines
Validate the technical documentation and quotation provided by the Contractors
Check and ensure that the installation activities, carried out by contractor personnel, are compliant with specifications, safety and environmental rules and any applicable STMicroelectronics standard and good practices
Ensure the on-time execution of process installation, with follow-up of works, highlighting any deviation versus the specifications and/or schedule
Participate in periodic meetings and be constantly updated about UPW & WWT activities progress with suppliers and STMicroelectronics team
Ensure the collection of final documentation related to the process disciplines

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Candidates that best fit this role should have/be:
(minimum) Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry, or other technically equivalent degree
(preferred) master’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, chemistry, or other technically equivalent degree
(preferred) experience or knowledge of process systems for microelectronics or pharmaceutical production sites
(minimum) able to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and instrumental schematics
(preferred) knowledge of Autocad and 3D modeling software (i.e. Revit, Navisworks,...)
Good analysis, problem-solving, synthesis, and reporting capabilities
Good teamwork ability
Good communication and documentation skills
Good knowledge of the English language both written and spoken
